Australian Working Holiday Visa

Australia offers a Working Holiday visa that allows having an extended holiday in Australia and earning money during this short-term employment.

This type of visa is for the people who are interested in a working holiday in Australia up to 12 months and the applicants must be aged between 18 and 31 when they are applying for a visa.

There are two types of Australian Working Holiday Visa: first working holiday visa and second working holiday visa. The visa you should apply for depends on your country of residence.

First Working Holiday Visa

The person must be apart from Australia when they are applying.

Validity of Visa: 12 months

Applicants may visit Australia at any time during the duration of the 12 months. The 12 months validity time can’t be expanded. Visa holder’s person can stay in Australia for the period of 12 months and leave and come again in Australia any number of times.

Second Working Holiday Visa   

The person must be from either in or out from Australia.

If you are applying in Australia, you must be in Australia to be approved your visa. Make sure you must apply before your existing visa come to an end. If you are applying apart from Australia, you also must be apart from Australia to be approved your visa.

Validity of Visa: If you were in Australia and had a first Working Holiday visa, you can stay in Australia for the period of 24 months from the date you first came in Australia on your first Working Holiday visa.

If you were in Australia but don’t have a first Working Holiday visa, you can stay in Australia for 12 months from the date the second working visa is granted to you.

If you were apart from Australia, you can visit to Australia at any time in the 12 months from the date your second Working Holiday visa is granted or stay in Australia for 12 months from the date you first enter the country on your second Working Holiday visa.
